Research

Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine provide the opportunity to participate in a variety of interdisciplinary research projects. Faculty from the Department of Emergency Medicine are involved in several ongoing studies that address questions in public and global health, EMS, Ultrasound, Simulation and Education. Residents are encouraged to develop a research niche by pursuing endeavors that suit their interests. Financial support is provided for all publication and presentation opportunities.
